If you're working or in school, you understand how nice Saturday interviews can be.
Any DO schools have Saturday interviews?

List begin!
WesternU in Lebanon

I think the majority of schools have interviews during the week. I was surprised that Lebanon actually offered Saturday.

If I understood correctly, they only provide Saturday interviews 🙂

half the fun of going to an interview is seeing the students in their groove and talking to them. i would think this would be drastically reduced during a saturday interview. seems like the only people you would see is in the library or in random groups around.

yesterday i was all dressed up in my tie and suit and i went to the bathroom away from my group and on the way there and back, about 10 people told me good luck and it really reinforced my desire for the school. this wouldn't happen on saturday.

that being said, my schedule would LOVE more saturday interviews.

Yup Lebanon offers Saturday interviews because a lot of their panel interviewers are local figures, CEO's, and prominent DO/MD physicians. Most are busy during the week and can only drive down during the weekend. We just had our first group of interviewees and they saw plenty of us on campus that day. We also have student ambassadors who are assigned a group of interviewees to take around, give them a tour of the school, and answer their questions on our views of the school and experience. Depending on the timing of the interview dates, it may coincide with didactic weeks where 3rd and 4th year students from the NW track come back here. Great chance to also probe their minds.

It actually wasn't. There were quite a few students on campus, and despite having an anatomy exam on Monday they were incredibly forthcoming and helpful. Saturday interview in Lebanon = all the good stuff from weekday interviews, PLUS it's on a Saturday!

I also agree with FrkyBygStok. Although Saturday interviews work best with many people's schedules whether in school or out working, to get the best idea of what your days will be like as a student, I highly suggest trying to make weekday interviews. Yes, there will be some students on campus during the weekend but, it will be few and there lies potential for a biased/skewed opinoin of the school depending if you run into a disgruntled student or a overly optimistic one. I mean, how much can you get from empty buildings and admissions staff?
