Hi everyone,

i wanted to know if ADCOMs look at the most recent MCAT score or the highest MCAT score when looking at your application. i was wondering if it was worth taking again. thanks!

Are you saying your highest mcat is your first score? or do they do a mix and match of scores, i have only heard that Tufts and I think mich. do that. Schools will look at both scores if they are within the past 3 years and i think they want to see that you improved significantly when you re-took the mcat. So they both count somewhat

I just took the MCAT and want to take it again, and i am weighing whether to take it or not. the hypothetical situation is that if i took it again and did worse, if that would work against me. if i improved by only 2-3 points, would it be worth it?

That depends on what you got and how your scores were spread out, if you are a URM, where you went to school, what your GPA is. It's not east without all the facts.
