Hi guys,

All the schools in California have a dextricity test.I have heard that students in California take a special class to prepare themselves for this test. But those of us from the other states dont have this opportunity. They are all great colleges but one doesnt apply for the fear of the test without adequate practice.

Was just wondering which of these schools will have an easier test where you can try your luck even if u havent had any practice recently. Is it UOP?

lomalimda has a different test I mean very basic but then again it is a difficult school to get in .

What do you guys have to say ....... 🙂

Hi,
I dont think UOP is easier to get in either.
But we can always try our luck....... 🙂

Uop certainly not. I got excellent in both the practical tests. But still could not get in. I was in the waiting list and was way way down in a big wait list of 35 students!! My interview result was also very good. Its kind of very difficult and ofcourse luck also plays in. I was in the first batch, but for the last batch I heard they were not that stringent.. I don't know how far this is true though. In summary, UOP looks at overall excellence (scores, practical tests, experience, interview etc). They award some percentage points to each of these categories and the highest overall percentage students get in.

I thought as UOP gives time to practice and also I read from somewhere in this forum that U just need to follow a manual and all they see is if ur able to follow it or not it might be the easier one.But looks like I was wrong.but it a feels bad to leave such good colleges without even applying .I really wish they had different rules 😡

Hi

If anyone could please post what is the min Part I score required to apply and what was the min PartI score accepted in california schools it would be a big help.

Thanx

Hi Neha,

My aim was not to discourage you. I think you should apply to most of the schools even though they are tough. Tough does not mean you cannot get in. Some times it works out in various ways. Here I believe from what I heard that professors can by pass lot of requirements if they really like you. Who knows how it goes.
