Which of these classes should I consider retaking for an A?

Hi everyone,
I'm a senior in college and these are my lowest grades:

C -- History (never went to class...)
C -- Algebra
C -- Intro to Stats (should I retake this or should I just take an upper level bio stat class? I'm actually good with stats usually, I did poorly in this intro class because it was a 6 week summer semester and, welp, I never really went...)

And I also got 3 Cs in some of my business major classes.

I also failed precalc but I'm retaking that for an A.
Should I retake anything else for an A since the AACOMAS only takes the highest grade into account?

I'm doing well in my science courses so far.

What is your current GPA?

Retaking C's for A's can boost the all mighty hell out of your gpa. I'm taking gen chem 1 (it's hilariously simple now) and maybe Organic 2 next semester. Paired with 15 hours of science courses both semesters each, my science gpa will go from 3.25 to 3.59 in this time frame (if all A's). Cumulative won't raise quite as high, but still very significant.

Current GPA is a 2.9 and I have 101 credit hours.
My science GPA is a 3.0 because I've only taken bio 1, but if you include the lab then I have a 3.25.

Would I be better off just taking more science courses or retaking other courses?

You only have bio 1 + lab courses taken for sciences? I would postpone my graduation another year and get all of those science pre-reqs done. Forget retaking classes until you have a solid load of science coursework on your transcript. Once you finish all that, then you can go back later to retake.

What this guy said.

Having taken only Bio 1, your journey has just begun, my friend. Things can go very wrong from here, or very right. By the time you finish you pre-requisites, you may find yourself in a position where retaking courses won't be necessary.

Good luck. 👍

Thanks!
I know I have many pre-reqs to go, and I am graduating one year late in order to complete them all. I will likely end up with ~150 credit hours total. I've messed around in Excel and calculated what my highest cumulative GPA could be and with my grades right now the highest it will get is the 3.1-3.3 range (depending on which calculating method you use) as long as I don't make any grades lower than a B from here on out. However, I feel like the 3.1-3.3 range is still fairly low...?

3.1-3.3 cumulative GPA with a 3.5+ sGPA is fine given you get a decent (27+) MCAT.

Take science classes and leave those 6 Cs alone for now.
