a) EMT - I've heard this is so common that it really no longer has much benefit.
b) Ophthalmology Technician - I would be working with 3 Ophthalmologists, but I already worked as a scribe for 4 Internists so I'm not sure this would help.
c) Research Assistant/Technician at UTSW - I already have 8 months of research but I'm not published. I'm applying to low and mid tier MD schools so I'm not sure having a lot of research would even help.
What do you guys think? I will also continue volunteering in my spare time.
