CCOM vs NOVA
Which one is a better choice?
You really can't go wrong with either. However that being said, CCOM is probably going to cost far more (Tuition is 5k higher a year and living expenses will be around that much too). It's going to depend really on whether you want to live in sunny Florida or on the edge of a crack saturated frost lake.

I wonder which one you would pick haha
NSU, but climatically I'd prefer AZCOM and its dry heat over humidity.

I never got the whole "Dry heat" thing.
I live 15 minutes away from Gulf waters. I visited Arizona, when it was 116*, and it felt like 116*. Humidity or not, that was significantly hotter than the gulf on its warmest day, to me at least. Getting back home felt like a cool fall breeze compared to that.![]()

Have you ever put acetone or ethanol on your hand accidentally in Chem lab? That cool feeling is due to evaporation. Dry climates have lower partial pressure for h2o and thus your sweat evaporates easier. Humid climates do not.
It's why dry heat is significantly more bearable. And why I would't mind it. But tbh, I'm pretty good with any climate.

Hey Serenade, insulting Lake Michigan like that isn't gonna get you anywhere!
To OP, I wish I was in your shoes. I'd pick CCOM in a heart beat...Chicago is an amazing city to learn. 😍
Well, well Chicago does have a drug problem and it is colder than cold...

Hasnt gun violence been horrible in Chicago this year as well? I was watching the news and it was talking about how, even though its only August, gun related violent crimes at this point were up 33% compared to last year in its entirety. that was the sole reason I didnt apply there.
OP go where you think is the best fit. Most big cities arent really "safe" anyway.
Wouldn't gun violence and drug abuse present a job security, learning opportunity and a chance to effect change?
Personal opinion: CCOM.

ok, lake Michigan does not belong to Chicago my friend. It belongs to MICHIGAN. As you said, Chicago only has an edge of the lake, and it is a beautiful and vibrant lake that is full of love peace harmony and all that other shiz, so step back fool. That's MY lake buddy! 😀 lol
Edit: I see that psychgrrl already addressed this topic. In case you can't tell, I'm from the great lakes state. Psychgrrl, what connection do you have to Michigan?
What up dudeliness! I live in the great midwestern state of WI. We share Lake Michigan with you 🙂
I went to Michigan to visit MSU last summer and man was it nice! Lake Michigan is completely different over there!
Very little personal experience with Wisconsin for me. I went whitewater rafting once up in northern wisconsin by the UP (upper peninsula of Michigan) but that's it. Looks like a great neighbor state!
I've lived in Saint Louis (perennially one of, if not the most dangerous city in the U.S.) for 6 years now and even though the crime is prominant in and around where I live, I personally have never experienced it first hand. None of my friends have either. If you use common sense and don't put yourself in bad situations (like walking down a dark alley alone at 3am) you likely won't become a victim.
I pick CCOM, but I haven't been to Florida before. On Wednesday I'll let you know if I change my mind 🙂
Nova hands down. I love Florida weather, the area, the beaches, everything. Oh and I heard it's a good school 😛
And the dental students are fine as hell.
