I'm considering applying to some of the dual-degree PharmD/PA programs, but I'm having a hard time finding a concise list of these programs. I know that the University of Washington and the University of Kentucky both offer such a program, but I've heard that there are 5-6 programs in the country. Does anyone have a list of these programs, or know where I can find one?

I think the consensus is that you do better by picking one or the other.

Definitely this. In my humble opinion, with the job market the way it is right now, you'd do much better to take the shorter route and go for the PA. The job market for pharmacists is...well...I mean it's better than a lot, but you have to ask the question of whether or not it is worth a four year investment for OK job opportunities. (Go read the main pharmacy forum for some insight into the state of the job market).

On the other hand, physicians assistants are poised to write their tickets under the health care law. In order to keep up with the anticipated increase in demand for health care, physicians are going to be forced to rely much more heavily on nurse practitioners and physicians assistants. And, you can actually make a lot more as a PA than a pharmacist (depending on what specialty you end up practicing in).
