Which schools do NOT have class 9-5?
Started by toothless rufus
AZCOM.
We have class 8-5. Sometimes 7-5 if there is an exam. Fun!
That's pretty rough!
TUCOM-NV is class from 8-5 except on friday class is roughly 6 hours long
F
FS-Pro
DMU is 8-3 or so twice a week and 8-12 three times per week. A liitle variable depending on what labs are going on.
Just wondering what all schools class hours are.
WVSOM, 8AM-5PM.
Hopefully that will slow down a bit and turn into 8AM - 4 PM.
We rarely get out at 3PM. How I miss my undergraduate days already!😍

LECOM also has an independent study track where you dont go to class. Except for the first 12 weeks.
KCOM goes from 8-5 on most days. Exams start at 7:30 I believe.
what about NJSOM? Anyone?
During first year COMP was usually 9 - 12 except 2 days a week when we had OMM or ECM then 9-4. And it's not required to go to class because all the lecture audios are uploaded online immediately after each lecture. This year so far our schedule has mostly 9 - 2 or 3.
UMDNJ has a pretty full schedule but the only classes that are mandatory (i.e. daily quizes or sign in sheets) are OMM, Genetics, and Patient Dynamics that I can think of. Small groups and Case Based Sessions are always mandatory too. I pick and choose my classes for the most part so I go to maybe a half day of classes. Some people go to them all and some go to only the "mandatory" ones. It is up to you to decide how you will best learn, this is grad school and we are all adults.
PS We also have all the classes' audio and notes on the web, and for most classes the professor's powerpoints. So missing class and studying on your own is a good way to go sometimes.

What about UNECOM?
