Which schools to apply to?

So far I have choosen UHS and NYCOM.

I would like to a school in a urban setting or close to a metro area. Having research oppurtunities would also be a plus.

I'm thinking of
OU-COM (Do they take alot of out of staters?)
AZCOM (Do they have research oppurtunities?)
COMP (same question as AZCOM, also what is up with all these rumors about them?)

I would say CCOM is pretty close to an urban/metro area.

PCOM is in or very near Phily. During my interview at LECOM I asked about research opportunites. In so many words they said I wouldn't have time and probably wouldn't want to do research in the summer. From what I'm hearing from MSI/II'ers I'm tending to agree.

Yeah I've been hearing alot about not having time for research. Since for me research is more of an interest then a career path I just want to know that it is available if I ever manage any free time.
