Which secondaries can you start WITHOUT getting an email invite?

I would like to knock some out in the next few days before I start working 3-4 weeks straight. Is it possible to get into the system and start on secondaries without getting the invites? I've been "Under Review" for AMCAS and so I'm not getting secondaries yet. Does somebody know off top a few schools that you can do this at?

Why not just wait until you get the invite? They seem to be pretty vindictive about this. Refer to Albert Einstein's thread last year. Apparently accessing the website before you got an invite incurred an automatic withdrawl and many people had already paid their 120 fee before they found out about this....

you can't start filling in any "official" secondary applications until they've emailed you a link. you won't be able to set up a user name and password until they've authorized you to do so. just be patient

If you're really in that big of a hurry, look on past year threads for the secondary prompts. Start pre-writing so all you have to do when you get the secondary is fill out demographic information and copy/paste.

Then just start pre-writing your secondaries and then upload them once you get an invite. That's what I'm doing since I wasn't verified yet.

If you are already done with the prompts then the rest of secondaries only take about 10 minutes each. Except for ones you have to enter pre req classes manually.

Oh, I thought this was the standard? Ha. More like, I'm a non-traditional applicant with a different schedule?

BAM, automatic rejection. I agree that the best thing is to simply start pre-writing some secondaries based on last year's prompts. There are also a few common ones: if you're in a gap year, write about what you're doing. A lot of schools will ask you for a couple paragraphs about, "Why our school?" It's good to have these responses ready for interviews, anyway, so I'd recommend doing at least one paragraph for every school you apply to (if you have the free time). Some schools will ask for a couple paragraphs about where you see your future in medicine.

Rush is the only one I've seen so far that does not require an invite to do the secondary, so if you applied there, have at!

Otherwise the advice above is good, I think you're bound to see a lot of the same too: Why THIS school in particular? What's a big hurdle you've had to overcome? etc etc

UTSW and Texas A&M do not require invites to start, but you must complete TMDSAS before submitting them.

albert einstein is very clear about their policy. " All applicants must wait to receive an e-mail directly from the admissions office prior to submitting a Secondary application; otherwise their application will be withdrawn from further consideration and they will be charged the processing fee, if paid at the time of application."
