I did not vote

There are many other factors that are equally -if not more- important than those two.

If GPA is higher, then lower DAT is ok? What if you have
GPA . 3.75...DAT can be 14, 14, 14

Just kidiing guys......😛 😛 😛

Those raw numbers need a PERSONality to accompany them.

i think this pole should change to which student do you think has a best chance of getting an interview...

Just when I was getting sick of poorly worded, pointless poll questions, along comes... another poll.

There is more to admissions than numbers on a page, or else a computer formula would just automatically admit and reject people for much less hassle and cost (though I'm sure they'd still charge you a "processing fee" to run the scores through the sorting machine).😀

Exactly. And as long as there are people who refuse to recognize that, there will be no shortage of dental school rejections letters going out.

This person may well have recognized that (and if you havent then your in some kind of trouble), however its nearly impossible to gauge how your leadership/community service experience is viewed and what kind of impression you made when you interviewed.

Therefore, its nice to get an idea of where your numbers fall, because thats the only thing we can be pretty sure about.

I think this poll is an extremely obtuse way of asking....

"Which do adcoms weigh more, your GPA or DAT score?"

Is'nt the DAT the most indicative evidence to show how well a student will do in Dental School. I thought this was the case for any admissions test? I was really surprized to see the results of the poll. Thought for sure the more balanced student #3 would be more desirable? Just a thought🙂

Ah! This poll is another annoying exercise in number divination
I might as well play the lottery. Which is better an Orange or Apple?
