Lately I've been noticing a lot of M4s on away rotations at the hospital I work at and they have a patch on their white coat with their school's emblem or seal. The local M4s don't have it though.. is this something most schools do for students that go on aways or is it just a coincidence that the two local schools don't do it for their students?

Must be a coincidence... the hospital I work at has students from all over, including local. I've seen all of them with patches.

Different schools do things differently, my school just gave us a pin with the school emblem.
