Who doesn't get Press Ganey?

My hospital is now paying attention to press ganey scores. Sorry I got a score of a zero because we are out of Dilaudid/Zofran.
So...who doesn't get these surveys?
I've heard that if you've been here last 30 days or are admitted you dont get one. Someone told me if you put a "malingering" diagnosis you dont get one. Any tips or tricks you guys know?

It's institutional dependent. Our health system randomly sends them to people, but usually excludes patients presenting with psychiatric complaints or people who have been seen twice in the same two week period (it's hard to figure out which doc they are talking about as patients cannot reliably figure out which visit the survey is surveying).

You should ask your health system. Some places do not exclude psychiatric patients (always great for an involuntary psych hold that's rescinded when they're no longer psychotic from their methamphetamine), chronic pain patients, or revisits.
