I can't take it anymore. I still have some weak spots but after taking practice tests, I've concluded that trying to master every single detail is futile since the MCAT is so comprehensive. I wish I could be like some of you and study 6 hours a day until Saturday but I just can't. I'm going to be doing very, very simple review and a few verbal passages but that's it; serious studying is over. Who else is feeling the same way?

Not me... This is when you should get into full gear! Maximum warp ahead! Full sprint!

Seriously, though, this is when you should be studying more, since you could get some facts to stick with fewer repetitions. If you haven't conditioned your brain to focus for extended period, this would also be the time to start doing so, by doing some timed practice test.

Eh...I agree with Broccoli. While its true that you could kick up into high gear and study constantly, if you're like the majority of us, you probably have been studying for a couple of months at least, and finished all the important practice tests. A last effort to try and cram in anything possible will help little I think, and might even be detrimental. Cramming would put me into panic mode, and I'd feel much less confident on saturday if I was studying all day on friday.

That said, I don't think that doing nothing is a good idea either. I'm going over all my practice tests, focusing on my weak areas and doing some targeted study/review on those areas. I'll also read/skim through all pertinent chapters of books I have, and look over notes periodically. But definitely not the 6 hour study sessions I used to have earlier. I'm taking it easy... light review and brush up on weak areas, and have a little fun (*cough* snakes on a plane *cough*)

i feel the same way as broccoli - although i dont know if its the best strategy

today will be my last big day of studying - and its gonna probably be over by 4pm

not that ive studied very hard the last two days. im more concerned with coming across something that'll freak me out - so i keep telling myself that im prepared for all of it.

we'll see how it goes after today

At this point, I'm completely burned out. I haven't even been able to get some serious studying done the past couple of days. I've just been staring at my book and trying to absorb whatever I can. Like someone said above, at this point, the die are cast. After studying for months, these remaining few days will probably mean nothing

I would say anything you're weak in, it's much more fruitful to brush up on during the test than the days before.. at least that's my opinion since I'm done with studying as well.

Before every PS, I spend 20 minutes reviewing Gen Chem and 10 minutes reviewing physics formulas (as well as capacitors/optics which I suck at). During lunch I go over all the organic reactions and common topics like nephron, hormones, steps of meiosis, separation techniques and hemoglobin curve shifts. 😛

Damn! With scores like yours I would have already stopped after the weekend! The rest of us who are scoring below 32 are the ones that need to keep working! Good luck on Sat.

I haven't done anything since looking over my last practice test...on Saturday.
I will probably go over notecards tonight and tomorrow night, but I'm done...it's kinda like finals...if you don't know it by now, you're not gonna know it.

Haven't taken Kaplan FL #5 yet...but I should.

thanks everyone, it feels so good to know i'm not the only one who feels this way 🙂 🙂
