My interviewer gave me his email, and told me to feel free to email him if I had any questions about the cycle.

I would like to email him, just to keep in touch with him, but I am not to sure what I should say. I already sent him a thank you letter in the mail before. There are plenty of questions I would like to ask him since he is a committee member, but I don't think many of them are appropriate.

Anybody else email their interviewer about general questions?

I emailed a couple of follow-up questions to topics we discussed in the interview. They were things that I wanted to ask but forgot about.

Please share the inappropriate questions you want to ask your interviewer.

I didn't email any of mine just to stay in touch, but I guess you could. You may be surprised at the fact that interviews will remember you (or at least the one at the school I'm going to now did, but it may just be him).
I got emails from a few interviewers, but only emailed one. I interviewed in Oct, and emailed him in the spring because I wanted help comparing going to usuhs and doing hpsp at a civilian school (I had already talked to hpsp docs and my interviewer had gone through usuhs).

that's cool. sounds like you not only talked about your qualifications but also learned more about the interviewer... the interviews could actually turn out to be good networking opportunites, regardless of outcome, if you stay in touch and keep a good rapport with the interviewer.

Following up with the interviewer definitely will show signs of respect and interest in their school. So go ahead and fire a quick email. But if those "inappropriate" questions are asking about something personal about the interviewer, I would not ask them. Safest route is to simply ask about additional details regarding their program.
