Who got into their first pick?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Not sure what the purpose for this post is, but I got into my first choice.

I didn't really have a first pick per se. But since I got into the two schools I applied to, I got into the schools that were at the top of my list.

There really is no purpose. I just want to congratulate you. It's tough to get into school and you guys are lucky enough to also get into the schools that you most wanted to attend. I think that is great! 😀

I got in to my first choice too.

count me in...got into my top choice 🙂

Just curious...how many of you lucky people got into your first choice schools?

I did. Of course this was after I was accepted to 2 other schools, and had sent in a deposit for one of them.

I did too. The tricky decision was deciding who was my first choice

I'm pretty sure I did, but I'd like to have interviewed at #2 to be sure.

Oh no! You had sent a deposit, and then got into your top choice? It wasn't one of those HUGE deposits, was it? I'm so afraid of this. I got an early (relatively speaking, of course) interview to COMP, but I would take interviews at PCOM and a couple others, if they're extended to me. The problem is, there's no way I'd get an intervew any earlier then mid-March. Of course, I'd be thrilled with a COMP acceptance, but then I'd only have 2 weeks to give them their deposit! Oh the drama!

Indeed. I feel very lucky that I wasn't forced to make a decision. I got into my #1 choice early on. Just relax and celebrate, because no matter what school you pick; in 4 years you will be a doctor. And that's what really matters, right?

I got into my first choice, Ohio University. I've turned down interviews at other places cuz I love it so much 😀

You know you did....you couldn't go to a school without me.

I got into my first choice...and I can't wait to get there. 🙂

I thankfully got into my first choice too. TUCOM - CA. It was the only osteopathic school whoose secondary I completed. But it was the only one I really wanted to go to. I'm not sure what I would have done had I not been accepted.
