For the schools that have one form or another of post interview holds, has anyone been able to get off the list yet?

Tufts: "no decision"
Tulane: "acceptable pool"
....
(please add to the list).

Tufts for example, says they'll put ur file in subsequent meetings until you're either accepted, waitlisted, or rejected. Which other schools do this, as opposed to schools like GWU, which essentially say: "u're waitlisted and won't be reviewed again until may".

Yeah, I have the same Case Western "hold for continuing review".

Supposedly, I've seen other posters mention that Case does a big lump of acceptances in January...seems like a wisp of a rumor at this point.

shamthis: were u taken off the holds or are u still on hold? i'm still on hold at these schools (just for clarification).

[Please add your name if you've been accepted after being put on hold by these schools that remove people from their "waitlists" on a rolling basis]

hey, i was was actually talking about post-interview decision/holds. ;-)

Um, by post-interview holds, you mean any form of a waitlist???

I think any movement off of the waitlist this early would be really rare....why would they start moving you off the wait list if they haven't even gone through all the applicants yet?

No, holds are different from waitlists. There is movement in the hold pool before May 15th.

...or, at least, they claim there could be. So far, no one has confirmed nor denied the propensity for folks to be accepted off a hold list....

I was placed on hold post-interview at UCI so I was expecting to be on it for a while but then I got in a few days later. For UCI,they have a "hold" category and also an "alternate" category, if that helps.

I haven't been moved from the "on hold" category from UCI "post-interview". Dunno what this means as of today... I just sent an email and hope they reply soon.
Has anyone out there been accepted to UCI after being "on hold" after the interview??
Thanks yo'all

I hope those CWRU January rumors are true. It would be great to get a jump on selling redundant organs so I'll have the money to pay the tuition. 🙄

Is this a list of people STILL ON HOLD post interview or people who have been ACCEPTED from a "hold" ???

I am on HOLD at Case post-interview.

Please add this to the list if you feel it is appropriate to do so... I'm not sure if it belongs in this one. Thanks!
