Why are DAT scores take so long to be received?

So It has literally been a month since I took the DAT, and some schools say they haven't received my official scores yet. But the weird thing is that some schools already did. For example, Midwestern got my scores, and Tufts haven't, and Midwestern is further from Chicago(ADA center) than Tufts is. What gives?

What other schools have or have not received your scores? It may be possible that some schools just haven't gotten around to yours yet b/c they have a greater number of applicants, so it may take a bit longer for them to get to your file and organize everything.

Um, well looking at my AADSAS profile status page, which isn't all that recent except for Tuft's saying they haven't received mine on 8/19. I think UCSF, Buffalo, NYUCD still have yet to receive my scores.

I would call the schools directly because the AADSAS updates aren't really that reliable. I had 3 schools on mine saying they didnt have my DAT scores, and when I called each of them up, they all said it was just a mistake on AADSAS and that they did have my scores.

I see. What about if they send you an email saying they're still requesting DAT scores (although the email itself looks pretty generic itself)?

Then that most likely means they still don't have your DAT scores. I guess the ADA must be a bit busy around this time so your scores may be taking a bit longer to become available to schools. Since you're right around the 4 week mark, I wouldn't be too worried. If you want, just contact the schools again next week to see if they have received them.

Question- when you guys are referring to AADSAS updates about your DAT scores, are you going off of the decisions page? As in, you're assuming that everyone who updates to say "app complete/under review" has received your scores?

No, I'm going off the supplemental materials section. Some of the schools I had on there said "DAT Scores - Not Received" on there, or something like that.
