Why are people so uptight on SDN? I mean there are a lot of people who can't even take a joke? I know we are all in pursuit of a career and thats something to take serious but come on loosen up. Just say F*** the world.

because theyre pre-meds. If you havent noticed pre-meds are basically the most annoying, competitive, type A people in college.
 
I actually say its due to the forum mods. Some of them take their "jobs" super-cereal and go on account/thread banning/locking sprees. Its a huge pain in the ass to access this site via proxy if they decide to IP ban you (and they <3 that), so most of us just come here for information instead of fun.

This is a crock of ****. Even the least popular med school gets over 2k applications and gives out over 200 interviews. I guarantee that even Rain man couldnt memorize all of the nitty gritty details, then have the motivation/reason to match SDN SNs to real names.
 
first off gut shot is a douche yes i said it now that its out in the open im not uptight I would rather enjoy a chat with a fellow pre med than try and out do them with my stats my super secret admissions info f*** all that ish enjoy life when we get to the end of this road we will appreciate it much more.
 
You know, usually when someone says this, it's usually just typical gen-x loader babble... but in this case, I think it is the most appropriate line/response someone could have given.

That thread was funny but it was openly mocking another legit thread and a poster who didn't necessarily deserve it.

No doubt no doubt its just who I am I dont act like this when its time to be serious I know how to be professional. I do act like this on my own time because I enjoy seeing people have a good time and socializing. Thanks for the the knowledge.

Whew yeah this is pretty accurate - some good, funny people get banned just like THAT! And no curse words... because I guess everyone on this thread is under 13... 🙄🙄 Haha! :laugh:

Bacchus' post is perfect example of mods being over-protective babysitters - don't want anyone's feelings to get hurt! I joke I joke...
