Hey folks,
I remember awhile ago reading a great post by a forum member on why he went to Minnesota for Epidemiology -- what the perks were, etc. I am having a terrible time finding the post since I don't remember the forum member's username nor the thread title. I'm hoping this thread will attract that forum member so that I can access that post again.

Anyways, while looking for that particular post, I leave open the question for any other UMinnesota MPH Epi alumni. Why did you go to Minnesota?

Hijacking my own thread here...

If anyone knows the appropriate word count for UMN's statement of purpose for Epi, please let me know. The website doesn't give a concrete number, and the SOPHAS recommendation is the same for all schools (around 1500 words). I've tried getting in touch with the program coordinator but she is out of town until Oct 4th, and I would like to submit my application before then.
