Why were some offended by the comments Turtleboard made?

If he made jokes about dentists, it shouldn't bother anyone!

If the dentists and predentists were offended by turtleboard, then I think you should reconsider your profession!

One should not be insecure or ashamed of their proffession!

If you're in dentistry, be proud of it, and treat jokes as jokes!

OOPS, I better watch myself, or I might get in trouble. You guys are pathetic. Get a grip. If you have such insecurities about your profession in the presence of other health professionals and students, I guarantee that your patients will pick up on it--and they'll make MUCH more fun of you than Wu ever did. Plus, they won't come back to you, which means, you make less money. All for being a hypersensitive, well, for lack of a better phrase, humorless weenie.
