If you get in, you get in. It doesn't matter how or where. The main goal is to live the dream and enter the glorious world of med school. So what if someone in your med school class has a 2.8 GPA or got a 4 in VR? They got in, there's nothing you can do about it. It's not like medicine is a cut-throat competition.
Same thing goes for DO/Caribbean schools. If someone failed at an MD acceptance but someone at a DO/Carib is cruising on by, noone should be jealous, they should be happy for them 😀
