I applied in August (yes i know it's late but bare with me) and my application has been "under review" or "Application complete" at all the schools i applied to since september. Every time I call to ask about my status, they tell me they are still reviewing it blah blah blah. I see some people getting interviewed at those schools, and im also hearing how some schools are already done with interviews...so why is it that they don't just tell you, sorry you're not getting in this year or your stats aren't good enough, whatever it is, instead of giving you this false sense of hope that maybe there's still a chance. Sorry I just needed to vent, ****'s been driving me crazy. Anybody else out there feel me on this?

I am in the same boat. I keep thinking that my app is in the "no thanks" pile and has been for months.... they just haven't got around to emailing me.

I applied late August too and none of the schools gave me any word until recently. 2 invites. Give them a little more time. I think they look at people's apps in order and ours are after many other apps

i applied late june and more then half the schools I applied to are under review. So don't worry!

I applied in June, and I am in the same boat as you! I have about 6 applications under review/complete. The suspense is killing me lol!
On a side note, I really hate when schools send you an e-mail that basically says, "Please send us $50 dollars for us to process your application further." So I rush out a letter with my $50 dollar secondary application fee, then 2 weeks later I get a letter saying my application was denied, I mean come on, where you guys really going to let me in?

I agree 100%. I also have to agree with the secondary app fee issue. They claim they want you to send it because they looked over your file and are interested, when in actuality it seems that it's really just a donation to the school haha unless you get accepted, then it's for sure worth it!

haha.. There are many of us !!! and some Universities don't ever send you rejection letter!!! lol.. If your application on ADEADA website is not even under review-> That means, You have to re-apply my friend!! just like me 🙁 and consider re-taking DAT ( that's what i will do)) or increasing your GPA!!! There must be something wrong with your application that does not get their attention!!! Good Luck!!

Well I dont blame them for not be able to give your status here is why.
On first month of aadsas opened 5000 people opened their accounts. & avg dental stu. applies to 10 schools so. There will be at least 3000 apps sitting on their desk the first month alone.
Now here is why you wont get your status on where you are.
Apps are sent in batches. So there is no way to determine who clicked their submit button first in their batch. So apps will be looked in batches...
Schools who get their data automatically(from the internet) from aadsas will probably have some sort of dating schema and review in that process... but they dont number you app. even if they do they dont want to give it out to you b/c just like you another 3000 people will be calling the office and keeping the phone lines busy. And they are not going to waste resources on updating you or hire someone just to update you every day on you aadsas.
