All of the schools I applied to (COMP, TUCOM, CCOM, AZCOM, NYCOM, UMDNJ-SOM) had a complete file on me back in early October. Well I only heard about interviews from COMP and TUCOM (had them in late Oct. and early Dec.). I accepted TUCOM's offer.

I am interested to know why the other schools didn't contact me -- either with good OR bad news. They all cashed my supplimental app fees, but all they could tell me was that their committees were still reviewing my application.

I think it's really bad that these midwest and eastern schools can treat students this way. Hey don't get me wrong, I'm excited to be going to TUCOM and I probably would have chosen to go there anyway, but I guess I was just a little disappointed that I only heard from two schools. I mean, even hearing rejections would have been better than hearing nothing at all!

Anyone else have a similar experience?...or did my file just mysteriously fall into the trash at FOUR different schools? 🙄

Same here! My apps. were complete back in November and I have heard from two schools, interviewed at both, accepted at one and waiting on the other.

BUT, not a single word from UNECOM, KCOM, UHS-COM, or DMUCOM!!

When I've called to check on them I get the same "Yes, your file is complete and in review." Really?! Thanks, for the fifth time. I wish they would just let me know that they aren't interested so I could get some closure, already! <img src="graemlins/laughy.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughy]" />

I had the same problem with PCOM. All the other schools I heard back from quick and interviewed and got accepted. I never even heard back that PCOM got my stuff, the check was cashed though. I emailed and tried getting ahold of them, but no one ever responded. I gave up because I had been accepted to the other 4, but I was a little disgruntled that for $50 they wouldn't even tell me they were not interested in me. I think that really made me feel like they had a poor admin there. I doubt I would have chosen go there, but I would have liked to done an interview if possible. Oh well, it is good to vent and see that others are venting about similiar situations.
