Why is EK cheaper on amazon?

Hi am retaking and decided to give exam krackers a shot. I was about to purchase the complete package, but ran across two different prices.

Can anyone see a difference here? They are the same versions and everything, but the Amazon is 64 bucks cheaper.

The Amazon set is sold by independent sellers, they're the same set.

Actually it is shipped and sold from Amazon. If it were sold by independent stores then it would name the store and or be under "new & used from xxx.xx"

Get it March 17 or thats what the slated delivery estimate is. I am assuming that your order was backordered.

When you order it from Amazon, they might not even have it in stock, instead they place an order with the publisher that says "aggiedoc ordered a copy of EK. Ship us an extra copy" and then, when the publisher gets enough orders for a second printing (which may not happen for several months), that is when Amazon is able to send it out to you.

They will. I was going to order a physiology text from them last week and i realized it was from a private company and they would ship it within 10-12 business days. Thats like 2- 2 1/2 weeks. So I found another copy direct from amazon with an ETA of 2-3 business days. They shipped it the same day I ordered it.

Found complete EK MCAT set for lot cheaper here at SDC Bookstore. $80 🙂 From an individual seller.

This was for the EK Verbal that I ordered. I also ordered the EK complete set and that took like 2 months. When the OP asked why the EK was so cheap at Amazon, I assumed that it was because they ran out of copies in stock and had to wait until the publisher printed more copies before they could ship it out. Apparently, I had ordered right after they shipped out all their copies - this was why the price was so low on Amazon, but on Ebay and other places, the mark-up was like $60 since they could ship out right away.

But yeah, check with Amazon and make sure that they have the complete set in stock. I received an e-mail from Amazon about two weeks after I ordered saying that they had run out and asking me if I wanted to wait until they could get more from the publisher.

I just ordered the mini mcat passages book and the 1001 chem book from Amazon and it arrived in < 5 days.

As long as it says its in stock then you should get it relatively quickly.
