I am looking at applying to TOUROCOM in NYC, and had some questions for the group. If you've heard anything, I'd love to know.

What are the perceived advantages they offer?

Disadvantages?

Where will students mainly do their rotations?

Any idea if the building/faculty/administration will really be in place in time?

it opened up its apps cycle REAL late for 07 cycle
at this point, theyre lookin at 3.0+ and 24+ for secondaries
1st rd of interviews startin soon
its totally new, so im not sure if theyve got the rotations list put together for ms3/4
people claim harlem to not be great, but its NYC, who cares.
no idea when the bldgs will be in place ... their prints look tight .. and from what i read their admins/faculty seem nice but dont seem to know the real answers, fuzzy answers depending on who u ask ...
secondary is 200 bucks, yikes! only reason i didnt apply ...
im sure rotations when they do finalize them will be nice .. best teaching hospitals are in ny/philly area ..

I've heard a lot of bad things about that place. Only thing great about tourocom is that its in the middle of NYC, and even thats not that great if you ask me (I live in NYC)
