Seriously, why is it taking me FOREVER to write these damn thank-you letters????? Anyone else having this issu, or am I just completely neurotic? (this could very well be the case! 😳 )

same boat, Stringbean. Don't know what's wrong with me...

For me,

Best turnaround time: wrote and mailed 4 thank you notes in the airport the day of the interview.

Worst turnaround time: 6+ weeks and counting...

Sigh. Being effusive gets tiring sometimes.

I just got back from a 3 week marathon of interviews on the West Coast. Yesterday I sat down to write my thank you's - took 4 hours for ~30 notes total.

My hand still hurts 😳

I waited till last week to do all of mine that I had interviewed at so far. ~70 notes took me hours and hours. I was dying inside. 🙁

I've finally written to all the program directors.

Some interviewers, I no longer remember, so it may not be worth writing anything to them. Every PD has gotten one....

.... And now there are a couple of chairs I'm going to try and write to. I've given up on writing a personalized letter to every interviewer (especially if I was interviewed by 5 people).
