Hello forum! Does anyone have any information/experience with WICHE and osteopathic medical schools?
From the WICHE PSEP website:
"For a current list of cooperating WICHE programs in your field, visit our website. Apply to the participating schools of your choice. When applying for admission, indicate that you have applied for WICHE certification. You are subject to the application deadlines and academic requirements established by each school. Many programs give preferential consideration to WICHE applicants."
So...which programs give preferential consideration to WICHE applicants?
It says that the states that are supported are AZ, MT, and WY. I am a Montana resident.
The following schools were listed on their website, but I don't know if that means preference for admission:
A.T. Still University
School of Osteopathic Medicine
Mesa Campus
Midwestern University
Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine
Glendale, AZ
Touro University
College of Osteopathic Medicine
Vallejo, CA
Touro University Nevada
College of Osteopathic Medicine
Henderson, NV
Western University of Health Sciences
College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific
Pomona, CA
I don't know why PNWU isn't on there...perhaps because it is a relatively new school.
Any information/experience on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
