Sorry to hijack, but I'm a BME student. So what about classes taken through the engineering department that are more biologically based? For example, I have classes such as biomechanics and biotransport.

Under Biology (BCPM), they list "Biophysics / Biotechnology" and under Engineering (AO), they list "Biomedical Engineering". I think that biomechanics and biotransport could theoretically be listed as either (as I would imagine they would fall under biophysics or biotech). List them as whatever you want and see what AMCAS says. More likely than not, they'll agree with what you list (within reason).
