I have a 3.0 gpa and a 3.2 science gpa. My dat was a 20 AA 21 TS and 19 PAT, im applying to 31 schools. Do I stand a chance with such a low gpa or whats the deal. Need opinions.

31 schools? I think that's the highest number applied schools so far. I think you have a decent DAT score and the GPA isn't that bad. I've seen a lot of pre-dental students with similar schools and they get in so you could too! 🙂 Best of luck!

You have a chance because of your DAT scores and out of the 31 schools a few (ir more than a few) should offer you an interview. The key is to kill that interview and you will get in somewhere.

i hope you got all your application stuff in ASAP.

gpa is border line and ur dat scores are solid.

anything can happen; don't lose hope.

g'luck

The year I applied to dental school I got into 2 schools, wait listed for 1 and didn't set up interviews that 3 other schools offered. I only applied to 10 schools and my statistics were slightly lower than yours. With that said, you totally have a chance, I know that it is a bit more competitive these days, but you just need to nail the interview, sell yourself, tell them that you are passionate about dentistry and why, be prepared to answer questions about your strength, your weaknesses, hardships that have shaped your character, what makes you you, why are you unique, what you have to offer to the school and why you should be accepted. The interview is critical and if you make a good first impression you are likely to highly increase your chances of acceptance. Good luck!
