I took the mcat for the first time in July of 2007 and, unfortunately, I did not do as well i hoped, so I will be taking it again in April. When preparing for the July mcat, i did all of the practice AAMC's, but I only did the Bio and Physical sections. So obviously practicing the verbal sections would be worthwhile. But do you think re-doing the bio and physical sections would be of any benefit?

well the benefit of those exams is that they give you a chance to see what the real exam is like. It's not necessarily about what you'll learn FROM the exam, but what you'll learn about TAKING the exam. I think the best thing you could do is when you decide to take the exams over, take the full thing and in timed/realistic settings. Your scores in bio and physics may not be accurate performance indicators but it will get you into the rhythm of taking the full length. Taking an isolated verbal section is very different to taking a verbal section under test conditions. Good luck.

First off, DEFINITELY get more full-length practice tests and do NOT just do select sections. That's a complete waste of a good practice test. It might be beneficial to take the AAMC tests again, but not much. The problem is that you've seen the problems before so it won't be even close to the real thing.
