Will Postdoc experience in NEI help in matching a residency of ophtho?

As a FMG, I know it's very difficult to get matched in ophtho. I am thinking to get some experience in NEI (National Eye Institute) as a postdoc. Will it help for match?

Althought NEI is a good experience, it is better to actually work at a program with a PD or Chairman for a year. I think this way you have a MUCH better shot at getting in than at NEI.
