I am considering a job with Winn Dixie. Does anyone have any comments on working for them? How is their computer system? How well do they pay?

I worked at Winn Dixie for several years (not as a pharmacist). I found that working conditions varied wildly between locations. Some Winn Dixies are just not pleasant to be in. Others are nice. I know you want to hear from a pharmacist, I just wanted to jump in and contribute what a could. I will say at my regular store we had the same pharmacists for several years, so that is probably a good sign. I know the volume of scripts was very low. One long time pharmacist brought in western novels to read. The younger pharmacist brought in one of those portable dvd players. Like I said very low volume store.

I thought Winn Dixie went bankrupt?

It did. The kind of bankrupt where they shut down the unprofitable stores and keep the profitable stores. They are still quite strong in the south.
