Acing Chem tomorrow...

Yeah I'm not dropping ****. As soon as I finish these labs and study lightly for my other 300 level over break, I'm right on path to getting a 4.0.

Wow good thing you didn't listen to everyone telling you to dump all your classes right...
Yes, but I completely understand WHY they did. They would have given me the same advice to drop them even knowing I would have gotten a 4.0. I didn't deserve a 4.0, I had multiple breakdowns and barely studied. I am not in the right mind set to study for the mcat, but I'll try.

They were also hardcore flaming me for telling you to stick it out or try to keep as many classes as possible...(in the other thread).

Don't take the MCAT until you're absolutely ready.

And I'm happy I did! 🙂 It was a terrible time though.

Yeah but it made you stronger. Every single one of us will be tested and pushed as a premed, as a med student, as a resident, as an attending for the rest of your career... It did not make sense to me that they were so quick to tell you to pull the plug without really considering the options or what it meant down the line. We all have personal problems and family issues. If you were meant to succeed you will find a way... If you dropped those classes you would have been setting yourself back significantly.

I see where you're coming from, but in situations like this (when someone is expressing concerns about their mental health on a social forum), the best advice is always going to be withdraw and see a therapist until they have their mental health back in shape. We don't know OP personally, so we have no idea how severe (or not severe) his case really is.
