I recently got my MCAT score back and received a score that was way below what I had been averaging on my practice tests. I will be retaking the test and applying next cycle. However, since I already submitted AMCAS and have received several secondaries how do I go about withdrawing? Should I send the med schools an email or will not submitting any secondaries work? I don't want anything to count against me for next cycle.

It's too late. If you submit a primary, you'll be a reapplicant at that school even if you don't finish secondaries.

Right however, I'm just wondering does it look better to email the schools telling them I'm withdrawing or do I just not submit the secondaries?

I don't think it'll matter if you email them or not.
