Hi, I am thinking of withdrawing from one of my classes.

I am a senior who is graduating a semester early, so this is going to be my last semester.

I am currently enrolled for seven classes including neuroscience class (last core class for my major) 4 credit hours, evolutionary biology 4 credit hours, environmental science 3 hours, developmental bio 3 hours, music 1 hr, PE 1 hr pass/fail, and another neuroscience elective 1 hr pass/fail. So i am taking 17 hours and I am thinking of dropping developmental bio.

That would bring it down to 14 credit hours. 12 hours for grade and 2 hours for pass/fail.
I never withdrew from any class before and my advisor told me that one withdrawal doesn't hurt but I have two main concerns.

1. this is my very last semester in college
2. it is a science class.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you so much in advance and have a great day 🙂

I don't think it would hurt you, but you could be asked about it in interviews. Someone with more experience would know better than I do.

But why would you take more classes than you need to?

You're fine if you explain if you can explain it to AdComs and it seems sensible. IMO you're wayyyy overbooked so I'd drop a course and take the W if it will keep your grades up!
