I got an interview from Rosalind Franklin last week, and just called today to schedule for later in November. I also just found out today that I got into Loyola, where I know I would absolutely go over RFU.

How do I go about withdrawing my interview date? Is it appropriate to do it by phone? I'd like to do it quickly so that they have ample time to invite someone else to interview.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I would thinking calling would be the quickest way to cancel your interview. Congrats on Loyola!

dont respond to the email. it says in there that if they dont receive a response, they will assume you declined it.

The problem is that i scheduled the interview this morning, before I got my letter from Loyola.

I plan on just calling them tomorrow.

Calling is probably the best idea. So 👍 👍

Congrats on the Loyola acceptance. 😀

i withdrew from a couple of interviews via email. both schools responded the next day... so i guess either calling or emailing is appropriate.

Congrats!!! Just make sure you withdraw from Creighton soon, since it sounds you are sure about your school preferences.

I've had to do this a couple of times. In both situations, I phoned first, and the person still wanted me to e-mail them. I think they might need your withdrawal in writing.

I'm not positive either way. I'm gonna hold on to my Creighton acceptance for at least a few months. As a school, I like Loyola better, but there are tons of factors that will be involved in my final decision (girlfriend in Omaha who might end up going to Creighton, need to do a bit more research about each school's clinical rotations, money, etc.)...

I just withdrew my interview date today. I called them first and they asked me to email them. It was pretty painless... they just need something in writing.
