I'm glad I'm not the only one who is bored out of my mind when it comes to watching baseball. 😀

Baseball is ok. A little to slow for my taste( but hey they have $7 😛 beers at games). The pinacle of sports for me is college basketball.

Hardest thing to do in sports: Hitting a round object moving quite fast with another round object. It's so hard, that a person who succeeds at hitting 3/10 times, is considered successful/good in the game.

Compare that to football where a good QB has about a 50-60% pass completion. Basketball is also pretty easy (except for dribbling the ball around my body).

The reason why I find baseball enjoyable to watch is, every time the pitcher throws the ball, could be a game changer.

Baseball kinda reminds me of cricket so I can definitely get into it.

Well, I guess you wouldn't really like cricket then since it's slow as well.😛

Who will win the world cup?

Man! there are fora for wrld cup discussion and i can tell you there are trillions of them. Just spare us this. This is space for pharmacy aspirants. We all love soccer and we know where its discussed. Not here

Thanks

There's no denying it's hard. But it being hard doesn't make it interesting. It actually makes it quite ... well, boring.

Oh come on, get the stick out your butt and learn to relax and have some fun. Besides, your first sentence makes no sense whatsoever. Pro tip as a "pharmacy aspirant": learn to be coherent. Like there are any interesting discussions these days outside of some smartass thinking it's time to make another pharm is DOOOM thread.

(besides.... my workplace has banned all those other sites, like FIFA and ESPN and whatnot, so I really don't have much place to go for football discussion...)

Netherlands vs. Slovakia! I'm rooting for Netherlands. 😀

X'cuse me?..
Whaaaat?! You mean you clicked on the "World Cup" thread and someone was taking about soccer? That's absurd!

Baseball is interesting if you have a beer in one hand, a hotdog in the other, and a cute chick trying to sell you peanuts 🙂 teehee

I'm kidding. I like baseball because of the anticipation of how the ball will fly/where it will go. Then you wonder if someone is going to steal a base or if the pitcher is going to just let a good hitter take first.

The only thing I wonder is when it's going to be over lol

I like baseball because I can get tickets right behind the dugout in Pittsburgh for $30...then spend the entire game heckling the Pirates and telling them that they suck...with a Pirates cap on.

God I hate my favorite team.

Yeah, too bad you don't get to play the Cubs every game you would be going to the world series! 😡 WHY CAN'T THE CUBS BEAT THE PIRATES! IT'S THE PIRATES!
