PAT 17 😡

I dunno why, i thought the PAT was actuallly pretty easy and i wound up with a 17. I was consitently getting 22's on Topscore and Kaplan. There were at least TWO ERRORS in the actual one too.
Should i be worrying about my PAT score? 😳 I just want to get into NYU, that is my first choice since i don't wanna leave the city. More to come later regarding my experience...

Your scores are awesome!!!! Don't worry about it. I have a friend who got accepted into NYU with a PAT score of 15. Congrats and good luck!

I had a PAT of 17 and got into every school I applied to 🙂. Don't make it an issue and its not. Never once was this brought up in any of my interviews.

I got a 22/23/17 and I got interviews and acceptances to top schools including U Penn, Harvard(still waiting for acceptance), UCSF. Don't worry at all about your 17. You did great! Schools like UOP care about the PAT but NYU doesn't emphasize on that section. Go party and consider yourself accepted! 🙂

Excellent scores. Many schools don't put much weight on the PAT, so you'll be fine provided that your GPA isn't too low.

i dont get this. why do people get soooooo nervous about good scores.

now i know that your typical SDN scores are waaaaaaaay out there, but dont people see the national avg stats?

a score of 17 is avg in most sections. so if you do well on all other sections and have one avg score doesnt mean you are screwed.
relax people. do not let SDN scores scare you.

to OP. your scores are fine buddy. you dont have anything to worry about.

as long as everything else is decent such as gpa, lor, and stuff. NYU shouldnt be a problem
