I took my test on May 28th right before my expiration date. Today I was checking in OASIS it says
Your Most Recent USMLE? Step 1 Score

Exam Date:
Score Report Date:

I understand that I have to wait for at least 4 to 8 weeks for the score report but shouldn't they have the Exam Date registered already? And besides that I tried to reapply for step 1 today June 1st and they let me choose dates!! 😱 What does it mean? Could it be that they take few days to register your test date? I thought that information was connected via net. Anyway if someone took the test recently could you tell me about yur status. 😕

If you tried to reapply and it let you that means:

1. If you are a IMG or go to a foreign med school, YOU FAILED. It will let u reapply b/c you failed.

2. If you are a US med student, then it means nothing and oasis doesn't apply to you.

I'm an IMG but I think that OASIS trick works when your score report appears as sent and you didn't get it by mail. But I don't think you can find out if you passed or failed 3 days after your test. What I'm asking is about the delay in posting my test date. It seems like they interpret I didn't take the test my period expired and then I'm able to choose a date.

Holiday weekend...you took it on Friday of Memorial Day weekend...please dont start checking OASIS until 3-4 weeks...you will just drive yourself nuts.

DON'T WORRY 🙂 . THEY USUALLY DON?T POST THE DATE OF THE EXAM UNTIL THEY HAVE THE SCORE. THAT WAS MY CASE IN BOTH STEPS. THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT THEY THINK THAT YOU DIDNT TAKE THE EXAM OR THAT IT WAS EXPIRED. IN YOUR CASE YOU SHOULD WAIT AL LEAST 3-4 WEEKS TO GET THE SCORE REPORTED. I HOPE THIS HELP.
