I was just curious i took pchem lab which is a one hr course over the summer and i got one hour of F. Yet, i submitted my grades before this grade appeared on my transcript for the aadsas app. I was just wondering given that i have interviews and will get an acceptance, will admissions committees frown enough on this to reject an acceptnace even though it's a non-required course and it's one hour?

b/c after they accept you they need an official transcript from you?

i doubt it...why the hell would you take pchem?

you may want to retake that one hour course though and have an excuse handy for it...was there a good reason or were you just unable to handle the material?

I believe that you will need to send them a final official transcript...

I dont really see a problem with that F as long as you are accepted prior to the updated transcript, and assuming that you graduate prior to matriculation.

I assume that since you are expecting to be accepted, you probably have a high enough GPA for it not to be affected by a one credit F on your transcript.

Schools will ask for a final transcript and schools will rescind your acceptance due to poor grades before matriculation. This particular grade probably won't be much of an issue, but you may want to make sure at each school you get accepted to. If the school you choose to attend finds out and boots you later it will be a real bummer. Especially if you were accepted to another school that wouldn't have cared.

Hey, I'm a chem major 😛

I was told that there is a winter update window in December where you can send newer or updated info to aadsas. I don't think it is required, but its probably a good idea to let schools know earlier than later.
And if it is a class that you need, retaking it sooner rather than later is also a good idea.
