reaplicant, already e-submitted my app.
ok my cgpa/sgpa/bcp is 3.54/3.37/3.4
new dat aa/ts/pa 23/24/21
im checking out a lot of the schools websites and it seems like all the gpa averages gone up. seriously, buffalo, maryland, michigan, basically all the northeast schools i applied to and didnt get an interview from last year. my gpa's are like lower quartile. is it worth it to take like 6-7 credits worth of science in the fall?

ok so i have already graduated from undergrad may 2010 and have just been working full time and plan on doing so this following year. im worried the schools will think im lazy for not taking any classes in this 2 yr gap between college and dental school. i was planning on taking anatomy since its a pre-req for most schools, but am also considering an upper level bio class like immunology or biology of cancer.

I would also like to add during my 4 year undergrad i never really took that heavy of a couseload. it always ranged between 12-14 credits and would usually not have more than 2 science classes at a time. i took a lot of summer courses so that helped me graduate in time. my major was biology and my minor was classics. the upper level bio classes i took are as follows
microbio C
molecular genetics B
evolution B
bio-organic chem B-
physiology A-
embryology A

is it worth to take some classes in my position? should i just play it as time goes since i already e submitted my application?

people with 3.5s and 23s and 24s should never be worried about their competitiveness (I know your not supposed say "never" but... 99th percentile on the DAT grants permission)

I would take the upper level bios just because they might help you out in dental school. But certainly, you don't need them for application sakes

Yeah i would't stress it, you should be fine with DAT scores like that and your horrible (cough) 3.5 gpa.

Relax bro.

What was your DAT the first time? Great scores, I think I would take classes to stay sharp before D-School if nothing else.

cool thanks guys. i think in fall im just gonna take anatomy and a upper level class to keep me busy. but then again idk, i might not do it if i get enough pre-dec interview invites during summer.

You don't need to take classes! You will get in without them.
