I do not think a small amount of money should have an effect on your decision. its only 70$ man , iam not rich however i think that money is the last thing to consider when i pick when i want to do the exam.

Should I take the MCAT when I am not prepared, which will require me to pay $200+ and another 200 hours of studying, or should I spend $70 to reschedule it to a date where I know I will be better prepared.

If you could actually read maybe you would see that I am considering changing from a *later* date to an earlier one, because I feel I will be MORE then prepared and the dates are so close together I wonder if it is even worth the money.

If you are planning on applying this cycle then it is definitely worth it to give yourself the extra worry-free time to get applications done. If you feel prepared, knock it out while your still confident!
