Would attending the University of Toronto be a good option for undergrad?

I'm applying for universities now, and I'll probably be applying to Canadian schools too. How is UofT in terms of being a stepping stone before dental school?

Thanks

It's a GREAT school, but you can make your life easier by going elsewhere I can tell you that much.

Are the academics difficult?

And what other schools should be considered? McGill? Western?

I attended the school and never regretted about attending there.
The world-class profs, great people, urban setting.. to name a few things.

Getting good grades is extremely hard but if you study, you will definitely get
grades you want while having much fun.

Don't be intimidated by what others say to you.
As long as you are well-disciplined and willing to put your efforts, you will be most likely successful virtually every where. Do not look for an easy way out!

The bottom line is, "go to the university where you will find yourself happiest" :D
