Im a first term biomedical sciences student at a DO medical school (I think this would be considered an SMP but not sure). The program is really expensive and I need to focus on my MCAT at this point which I recently voided. I thought we could handle the financial burden, but turns out we can't and I also can’t study for MCAT and SMP at the same time. Would it hurt my chances of getting accepted into DO school if I finished up this term with the final grades and then didn’t go back and finish the program?
I kinda already did grade repair at my undergrad (60 credits of 3.5+ GPA. overall GPA is much lower) and I'm only shooting for DO school. I originally chose to do an SMP to get a guaranteed interview linkage at my dream DO school but now I can't do it with my voided MCAT.
