Would talking about global health opportunities (international rotations) for a "Why us?" personal statement be frowned upon?

Hello. I was thinking that if someone applied to an undergraduate institution, say UCLA, and mentioned that they want to be an undergraduate student there because of the places they could study abroad at, that sounds a bit silly. In the same vein, would talking about global health opportunities (4 to 6 week international rotations) for a "Why us?" personal statement for medical schools be considered silly? I do have experiences living/working abroad, and it seems that most schools try to sell their globalness on their websites. Thank you.
