Prob not, Im pretty sure amcas just does it by department number but there might be a button that you can specific physical sciences on there though

If it's cross-listed as a BCPM department course, then it doesn't hurt to try given that you haven't already bent the bar too far. The worst case is that they reclassify it and you're on your way. They only send it back to you if there are major problems - like if you incorrectly classified many courses. Now, if it's very obvious that the course is plainly history or politics, then you should just classify it as such.
