wristwatch beep question

is it a big deal if i set my chrono (it beeps once) when the instructor says "you may begin"?

will they kill me if its just one little beep?

Mine does the same thing. It is the tiniest little beep, so I'm not too worried about it.

Get digital vibrating wristwatch.
Retail cost about $60.. But there's used one at amazon.com at cheaper price.

if you're worried about it just open the back and put 2 layers of scotch tape on the inside cover. this will probably disrupt the circuit that makes the beep. mine did that and the light and all other functions of the "beeping" button still worked.
you never know, you could end up in the front row 4 feet away from the proctor
