Hi guys, anyone have any ideas on how to write a good letter of rec for dental school? Because my boss want me to write a template for him and he will change an correct it to make the letter the way he wants it. But i've spend a few days thinking about this already, and i dont even know where to start. Any ideas?? Thanks

I had to do the same thing....i wrote all the good stuff about me & praised myself ....but i really dont know how good the letter was coz i never got it proof read by somebody. my writer made very little corrections & submitted... i hope it counts as a strong letter.

I am...(info about the person writing the letter, position title, and how the person knows the student)

So and So is...(info about the student, qualities the student has shown, anecdotes about student)

I believe that ____ will (predictions based on person's experience on how well the student will achieve or how much of a benefit to the school acceptance of the student will be.)

Somewhere in there the phrase, or something along the lines "I am pleased/honored to recommend ____ for entrance into your school..."


Not saying it's right...just a suggestion
