Can someone please provide an easy way to figure out the percentile off of the information provided from the ABA?

You can use a z-score probability calculator. You have your score, the mean, and SD. z = the number of standard deviations from the mean = (score - mean / SD)

Google is full of links to probability calculators and stats books have tables, here's one -

Example for a score of 275, mean 250, SD 50. z = (275-250)/50 = .5
Plug that into the calculator for the cumulative probability p = .69, which means that 69% of the curve is to the left of that score, or 69th percentile.


This won't be especially accurate near the extremes of high or low scores, because it assumes a normal distribution, which test scores never are.
